Jay was born in Washington DC on November 16th 1976. His mother is from the Virginia North Carolina area, and father is from Ohio. They moved back to Ohio when he was 2 to be closer to his father’s side of the family. A few years were spent in Ohio and then ended up back near DC in Greenbelt, Maryland for the beginning of his kindergarten and elementary school years.

Jay excelled in soccer and baseball during his middle school years, as well as making a lot of new friends. Middle school was spent in the Lanham area at Robert Goddard middle school. This is where he began leaning into technology. During these years, he was also highly active in dancing and singing.

Jay spent his high school years in Bowie, Maryland. During these years, he was highly active in baseball and soccer, and a letterman in soccer for all 4 years. Jay became an electrician after high school, and began learning the trade. During his 20s, he learned the trade as well as wrote and recorded music on the side. Most of his late 20s and 30s were spent, writing recording, and performing music with his close friends.
